When someone is banned, ModForge saves a fingerprint: username, display name, a hash of the avatar picture and when the account was made. Every new member is scored against those fingerprints and against accounts ModForge caught scamming elsewhere. Near-certain matches are quarantined, kicked or banned (you choose); possible matches are only reported to staff. Run /security bansync once to include bans from before ModForge joined.
From community-maintained Discord phishing lists, refreshed every 6 hours, on top of ModForge's own detection of lookalike domains, short-link redirects, IP loggers and scam messages. Big sites like YouTube, GitHub or Discord itself can never be blocked by a feed.
No. Normal links and invites are untouched, and staff roles plus anyone with Manage Messages are never checked. Anti-spam only reacts to real floods, repeats and mass mentions.
